Museums

A number of cultural and art museums exist across East Texas. The rich heritage is celebrated at civil war museums, pioneer museums, and oil museums. Explore the heavens at one of Texas' largest planetariums, located in Corsicana, or get in touch with your inner engineer at the Ennis Railroad and Cultural museum, to name a few.

Lake life

Nothing says Texas like a laid-back day at the lake. Whether you prefer to swim, boat, ski, or fish, just bring your camera and kids for a fun family trip.
